Morning Alms Offering + Bamboo Rafting +Lost city

We head to the west of Chiang Mai to explore morning life in Northern Thailand. We stop at the foot of the Chiang Mai Hill to witness the daily ritual of Buddhist monks leaving the temples and walking among the local people to accept alms offerings. You will experience how to make an alms offering to the monks also. We then visit Doi Suthep temple, the most famous landmark in Chiang Mai. They say you have not truly been to Chiang Mai if you have not visited this temple! At the top of the temple you can view the pagoda, believed to enshrine the holy relics of the Lord Buddha, shining with real gold. A viewing platform also offers panoramic views of Chiang Mai City.
Then we visit Hidden temple where you can touch peace and serene.
In the afternoon we head to experience bamboo rafting down a river where Northern Thais enjoy swimming and set up restaurants along the river banks selling authentic local food and whiskey.
To end the day we explore the tranquil temple sites scattered around the Lost City. Chiang Mai was originally built here in the 11thcentury but the ancient city was forgotten after being flooded and hidden underground for hundreds of years. You can enjoy some wonderful photos here.

Day 2
Old &beautiful temples in town - Nation park - waterfalls - hill tribe village.

Pick up 8:40 am-.6:30 pm approx. finish
In the morning we head to the river for bamboo rafting along the dense river.. We then continue to Doi Inthanon National Park which encompasses the highest mountain in Chiang Mai. We visit the Diamond Waterfall and Padok Seaw Waterfall, with their beauty derived from the white water formed when the water hits the large rocks below. We also visit a Hmong hill tribe market where we teach you bargaining skills the Thai way. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant in the park or on the way to the National Park.
In the afternoon we do a gentle downhill trek for 2 hours on a wonderful nature trail; in places it is so beautiful,like a dream, as we follow the streams and waterfalls to a Karen hill tribe village. Here we will experience their culture and their way of their life as well as trying their locally grown mountain coffee. Visiting the hill tribe village is very fascinating! To end the day we drop by a Long neck hill tribe village.
Then enjoy dinner at beautiful teak-house home stay.
Overnight at home stay in the local area.

Day 3

Elephant conservation centre in Lampang- historical park of Sri Chat Chana Lai
Leave chiang Mai for elephant conservation center to visit the first elephant camp and it’s the first elephants hospital in Thailand and the world and then head to Wat Phra that Lampang laung ( the oldest temple in town: 1400 years old one ) After that we continue to historical park of Sri Chat Chana Lai, enjoy the heritage site before checking in the hotel in Sukho Thai.

Day 4
Sukhothai Historical Park
Pick up at 8: 30 a.m. – finish around 7: 30 p.m.
After breakfast , we leave the hotel for The Sukhothai Historical Park and Visit the capital of the Sukhothaikingdomin the 13th and 14th centuries ( the first capital of Thailand ) : The park is maintained by the Fine Arts Department of Thailand with help from UNESCO, which has declared it a world heritage site. Cycling around with your guide is very fantastic and the best way to explore the ruin. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant. In the afternoon we head back to visit wat phra that lam pang Laung. ( 1,300 years old place) : Then we visit amazing local market before return to Chiang mai.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.
