For our first stop we visit the largest Elephant Camp in Chiang Mai where you will get up close and personal with Thai Elephants and see baby elephants in the nursery. See how the elephants are cared for such as bath time, how they sleep and how the mahout gets on. The elephants can give Thai massages, dance and play football. A painting by the elephants is also recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
We then head to the Culture Route to sightsee or shop in the handicraft and shopping villages. In the Umbrella Making Village most of the painters have learnt from their ancestors or on the job. In the Silk Village you can learn how your comfortable silk sheets are created and see the whole process. The tour can also include visits to workshops hand crafting silverware, lacquer ware, wood furniture or precious gem stones.
In the afternoon we visit Hidden temple where nontourist visit , this temple will bring you back to the real Lanna achitecture and make you fell relax and away from the tourist place and busy life. then we drive up to famous Doi Suthep temple, the most famous landmark in Chiang Maiand a fantastic way to end the day. They say you haven’t truly been to Chiang Mai if you have not visited this temple! At the top you can view the pagoda,believed to enshrine the holy relics of the Lord Buddha,shining with real gold and jewels. A viewing platform also offers panoramic views of the whole Chiang Mai City.
